IllustrationFriday: Detach

My first thought on the theme Detach is when we are
born and become "detached" from our mother. The doctor
cuts the umbilical cord and that's the first "detachment"
we experience in our life.

Interestingly, I was just talking to a friend today about how to handle a child who has "failure to launch" issues. I should have shown her your illustration! Excellent concept, and very well done. I especially like how you rendered the hands in the corner. Well done!
